Birdwatching

Birdwatching is a pastime that can be enjoyed by everyone, and in any place. It is a pastime that someone can enjoy in their own garden, yard, balcony, even when waiting at the bus stop. Birds are everywhere, and they provide pleasure for many people.
This is what I discovered the other day, when I was relaxing in my garden, after the move in our new house.
Sitting on the old white plastic bench that the previous occupants had left in the garden, I watched three birds that where coming and flying away, sitting on the roof and on the aerial of the house.
It was quite amusing, and as I had my digital camera with me, I shoot them several times. Not to kill them, just to take pictures of them.
But the best thing about birdwatching is that you do not need to know anything about birds to enjoy watching them. Of course it is a natural progression to go from enjoying watching a bird, or two, or three, coming and leaving, and doing whatever they have to do, to ask what kind of bird is that?
My birds that I captured in the photos, I think they are just pigeons. However I am not sure. What is certain,  it is that I need practice, both in my photography skills and in my birdwatching skills! I can recognise ducks for sure, though!
The photos I take I upload them online, with the photo sharing tool I was telling you the other day, imgeater. It is very easy, and the tool gives me a link to share the photos with friends easily!
I can send the link instantly, to someone who knows about birds more than I do, and ask them: "what kind of bird is this"? Also with imgeater I can create beautiful slide shows with my birds, like the one below. Again imgeater gives the code to place the slide show in your website or blog post.
